Mona
Little Miss Mona was surrendered into us after being found living in the garden and been abused by teenagers, found a safe haven with an elderly couple who surrendered her into us.
Her fosterers words….
“This gorgeous little lady is 2 years old, full of energy, and full of love. She adores people, cuddles, and her food – and she’ll happily curl up beside you for a Netflix binge, just as much as she’ll bounce with excitement when it’s time for a walk! She’s incredibly gentle with humans and loves a tummy scratch, but she can be very bouncy when excited – she’s even got quite the vertical jump! With patience and consistent training, we know she’ll learn to settle and channel that energy positively. She already understands basic commands like “sit” and “no” and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. After a few minor accidents early on, she’s now clean and dry with regular access to the garden and walks.”
“Things to Know: She finds other dogs a bit overwhelming and can be vocal when unsure, so she’ll need someone patient to help her build confidence and feel safe.
She prefers to have her people all to herself and thrives on one-on-one attention.
She hasn’t shown interest in balls yet, but she loves a bone – and isn’t quite ready to share her bones or her humans just yet.
She has shown too much interest in our cats and has chased them, so she’d do best in a pet-free home where she can be the centre of your world.”
“Health Notes: She came to us with a few skin issues and has been on a raw rabbit diet, along with steroids for her ears. The good news? She’s already much more comfortable and her coat is regrowing beautifully. This girl truly deserves her second chance. She’s affectionate, full of personality, and will be a loyal, loving friend to the right person or family. She just wants to be with you – whether that’s on the sofa, in the garden, or quietly snoozing in her crate. If you can offer patience, time, and a calm home where she can flourish, she will repay you with endless love and companionship.”
As with most French bulldogs Mona has an allergy to chicken, she will need a hypoallergenic diet. Now she is fed a raw rabbit diet, and this is perfect for her, her ears must be cleaned daily.
