Peaches
Meet Peaches (aka Peachy Pie)
Many of you may remember peaches the emaciated little lady who came into us recently, from a sad little lady to a little lady full of life and love!
pictures include before and after
Peaches may be a small little lady, but she’s got a huge personality and an even bigger heart. After a difficult start in life, she’s come out the other side as a confident, loving “little lady boss” who’s ready to find her forever home.
She’s full of character, she’ll follow you everywhere, snuggle up whenever she can, and happily climb all over you (yes, literally!). Peaches is the definition of a loyal companion and will be someone’s true ride-or-die.
Peaches would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of time, love, and attention. She forms strong bonds and seems to have a soft spot for male figures, though she’ll adore anyone lucky enough to have her.
She’s an active, curious little explorer who loves her off-lead walks. Always sniffing, wandering, and investigating, but never too far, she’s great at checking back in and has excellent recall to her name, “Peaches.”
Dog-friendly and mixes well
Fine with cats
Children not tested, but likely to be fine
No interest in wildlife
She’s very alert and will let you know she’s got your back in her own tiny (and very cute!) way. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home.
Peaches LOVES her food (she eats like a little piranha!) but has no food aggression. She’s currently doing best on a raw lamb diet, especially as she’s being treated for a skin condition. This is now well managed with medication and special shampoos, but some ongoing care or occasional flare-up treatment may be needed, she will have a 3 months supply of steroids with her.
She is fully toilet trained, just needs a final wee before bed and may occasionally need one during the night-she’ll let you know.
Peaches can’t jump up, so she’ll need a little help getting onto furniture, but she can manage stairs. She’s been a bit spoiled and has slept in bed, though she will settle downstairs if needed. She also snores for England… which only adds to her charm
Despite everything she’s been through, Peaches is incredibly trusting, loving, and ready to give her whole heart to someone special. She may have a few battle scars, but they only make her even more deserving of a wonderful life.
This little girl truly deserves the world, and she’ll give you all her love in return.
