Pearl is a sweet little girl looking for her forever home. She’s a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to her people and has settled beautifully into home life.

About Pearl

Pearl is a lovely, gentle dog with a relaxed personality. She is very well behaved in the home and shows no destructive behaviour. She will politely go to the French doors when she needs to go outside, and she spends most of her daytime relaxing on the sofa.

At night, Pearl sleeps quietly at the end of the bed and doesn’t make a sound, she’s a fantastic sleeper and very easy to live with.

Walks & Exercise

Pearl enjoys walks but does things on her own terms. Some days she’s keen to head out, while other days she can be a little stubborn and would rather take it easy.

Other Dogs

She’s generally good with other dogs while out on walks. Occasionally she may be a little wary when first meeting a new dog and can give a quick snap, but she settles quickly and then interacts calmly.

Children

Pearl has been fine around children she meets on walks (generally aged 5+). She shows no negative reactions and remains calm and polite.

Travelling

Pearl absolutely loves travelling in the car and makes a wonderful road-trip companion. She has happily completed long journeys of 4–5 hours without any issues.

Being Left Alone

Pearl is usually left for about an hour per day but has managed up to 4 hours. When she first arrived she would wait by the door for her person to return, but she has grown much more relaxed and will now happily curl up and snooze.

Food

Pearl currently eats Core Wellbeing Ocean kibble She’s also been enjoying some freshly prepared meals including fish, beef, vegetables, fruit, and sweet potato.

She is currently on Zenrelia and will come with 2-3 month supply of this medication

• Calm and well behaved indoors

• Not particularly toy-focused

• Loves being near her person

• Excellent traveller

• Gentle and affectionate

She recently had her nails clipped and the groomer was amazed at how calm she was, she didn’t even need to be placed on the table!

Pearl would thrive in a loving home that appreciates a gentle, laid-back companion. She’d suit someone who enjoys having a dog nearby to relax with, go on occasional walks, and join them on adventures.
