❤️ SWEETY ❤️
Sweety is ready for her forever home.
Little Sweety came to us just 3 weeks ago, she had been a well-loved pet until she was given away in January for free. She ended up living the life of hell and was found on the streets. She has been used and abused then kicked out. She arrived at my home under-weight, battered and bruised and severely neglected. She was placed onto foster care where she thrived.
Her foster family have done amazing with her. Her skin has healed well, and she is well loved. We still need to get some weight on her, but this will be a slow process in her new home. We don’t know exactly what trauma she suffered but she is quite unsteady on her back end. This could be due to loss of muscle or caused by being cramped in a cage for 7 months. This has been checked by the vet and nothing has been found.
Here are the words from her foster family…..
“What can we say about sweety? Her name says it all. She is the sweetest and most affectionate dog. She loves to be cuddled, she loves it when you put your nose on hers, she loves all your attention and affection.
Sweety has been with us for around 3 weeks and has settled in very well and easily with 4 Pugs. She is currently fed on John Burns wet food and is being fed 3 times a day due to the resident dogs being fed 3 times. She loves her scrambled egg on an evening, and I think this will need to be continued then gradually taken away. She fitted into our routine easily, and now knows, when it's scrambled egg time, it is bedtime walk time and bedtime treats. She's even cheeky and stole the laid-out dog treats that were ready BEFORE she went out. Lol She's very food motivated so with some recall training; treats will help a lot. She can fixate on dogs on her walk but never shown any issues. She will walk on her lead nicely! She loves being out in the garden, she loves a good nosey and likes to talk to the neighbours.
Sweety would do well with someone being around the home most of the time, someone who loves to drive as she loves being in the car. She would also do well with another dog especially one that is chilled and doesn't want to compete for pack leader. It's hard not to fall for those big brown puppy dog eyes she's mastered, she is such a beautiful dog inside and outside.”
